On the weekends, Urban Air Adventure Park offers special events like dodgeball tournaments and pop-up parties. The park also hosts special events every first Thursday of every month through their First 5 initiative (more details on that below).

Urban Air Adventure Park’s First 5 Initiative

Urban Air Adventure Park works closely with local agencies to turn their place into a safe and fun environment for kids to learn about things like healthy eating, staying active and socializing in a positive way.

They have been recognized by the national organization KaBOOM! for their dedication to providing a place where young children can go during non-school hours to play and interact with others. In turn, the park hosts First 5 events two times a year to celebrate the work they do to help kids in the community.

First 5 events are kid-friendly pop-ups that take place from 4:00pm – 7:00pm on the first Thursday of every month (except for months with a fifth Thursday). During these special events, Urban Air Adventure Park donates $5 from each in-person admission to a local children’s nonprofit in the area.

Throughout the year, kids can participate in free play time at the park between 10:00am – 12:00pm Monday – Friday outside of special events. This is an excellent opportunity for children who aren’t members to try out all that Urban Air Adventure Park has to offer at no cost.

Urban Air Adventure Park Insider Tips

If you live in or near Frisco, then you probably don’t need help finding Urban Air Adventure Park! If you’re coming from out of town though, here are some insider tips to make things easier for everyone!

  • Check their calendar before planning your trip. The best way to do this is by visiting their website and clicking on the calendar (usually located under a tab like “events”). Double check that they don’t have any special events going on before you arrive since those times will be excluded from free play time.
  • Bring socks! If you forget your socks, Urban Air Adventure Park does sell socks for $2.
  • Take advantage of kids eat free nights. On Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights from 5:00pm – 8:00pm, kids can eat for free in the cafe! The cafe is a buffet style restaurant that sells a variety of American food including pizza, burgers and pasta. Kids under 3 eat free every night with a paying adult at the cafe.
  • If you plan on going to the park a lot, purchase a membership! Members receive a ton of perks including free admission, free guest passes and discounts at the cafe.
  • Some games for kids have an additional cost. Pac-Man is considered one of their biggest attractions and it costs $2 per person to play (which includes the $2 game card).
  • If you’re bringing younger kids to the park, save yourself some time and ask for help when you get there! Getting all of your kiddos strapped into their harnesses can be a lot of work. You won’t have to deal with it once you get on the course so getting assistance while you wait is a good idea.
  • Most importantly, have fun!
